Karen Shore, MPH, spent 7 years as a director at a national nonprofit, where she was responsible for the vision, strategy, fundraising, and leadership of multiple teams spanning several cities. She has designed and led numerous healthy food access program and policy efforts in rural and urban areas in nearly 40 states, and has led the strategic planning of major food initiatives and investments for private companies and philanthropies. Prior, she spent a decade in management consulting, leading a multiple award-winning public health consulting practice for Booz Allen Hamilton in Rockville, MD, working with public health agencies and healthcare corporations to build innovative business systems.
With deep grassroots and programmatic expertise blended with years of experience providing strategic consulting services to diverse government, corporate, and philanthropic organizations, Karen has an unparalleled cross-sector partner network at the federal, state, and local community level.
